Hello everybody,
This week I'm working at my project and I started to prepare the report we are required to share. I,ve created a facebook page entitled Reading Class https://www.facebook.com/pages/Reading-Class/391339404324089 and a Facebook group with my students

Children are excited to use them and to bring their gadgets at school. So far I told them to write about the ebook we had read together on the Facebookgroup and to film themselves while reading and asking comprehension questions on the Reading page. Many of them answered my requests. To my surprise, they were happy to do extrahomework!!

Hi Anca!
ReplyDeleteIt is really surprising (or not) that children are agreed to do extra homework when it includes technology.
I have also had a class which disliked the "ordinary" homework, but if it included some kind of technology they did more than expected. In one hand it is delightful, but in another hand they need to use pen and paper as well, we can't do everything by dint of technology.
Best wishes,
Annika
Hello;-)
ReplyDeleteMy students are also happy to do some extra work, and they do not mind! They do not feel like they have a lot of homework because they enjoy using new technologies in the classroom! And of course, we have some extra work, we have to prepare quite a lot of things before "new" activities!
Facebook is always in fashion among the students; and if you use it for school, they don't see school as school:-)
See you!
